Aaaaand, because I've reached the 100 watchers milestone in the period this raffle was up, I've decided to add a small prize, token prize, additional prize, surprise prize - you can call it a sur-prize (I'll see myself out ).

The prize will be a sketch/drawing/unfinished comp/etc. in the same manner as the two main prizes. Rules are the same (anime girl), but - on my side - there's no regulations Now, it's not like it sounds, what I mean by that is that I'll draw a sketch and to what extent that sketch will be done and will it contain color, will it be portrait, half-body, full-body, will it be scribbly character exploration etc, that is open to my interpretation. Basically, at this point, I myself don't know what it's going to look like So, think of it as a bonus little prize, with great freedom on my side of things

The raffle will include only watchers, as that's what I'm celebrating So...

Hey everybody, after a successful first raffle I've held and after my announcement that I am planning on doing raffles regularly, here is the second one - may it be as fun as the first one, or possibly more

That said, this raffle will be basically the same theme-wise and prize-wise, with a bit of an added twist 



I've been thinking how to organize a raffle without alienating people who aren't my watchers but would like to participate, but to also show appreciation towards those who support me by being my watchers. And I think I've come up with a solid solution for that, more about that below









 PRIZES

1 - one custom drawing of an anime-styled female character. Winner of this prize will provide me with a written description, a concept art of their OC, or simply point out an already established character they would like me to draw. It will be a full figure drawing with simplified background/no background, similar to these:

  


2 - one portrait/bust in the same manner as the examples above. Same guidelines apply. This is an additional/secondary award, reserved for watchers. Basically, if you apply and happen to be a watcher as well, you are entering the raffle for both awards (in theory, one person could win both prizes).

For more examples of my work, feel free to visit my gallery , but these are the best representation of what you can expect to get from this particular raffle.





 HOW TO ENTER

-comment below. Simply write something like "Joining" or "I'd like to join" etc.

-you don't have to watch me or to fav this journal or to share it, just comment below.


Now, here's the twist I've been talking about - the second prize (bust/portrait) is reserved for watchers only. In a nutshell, by commenting below, you are entering the raffle for the prize number 1 - BUT if you happen to watch me as well, you are automatically entering the raffle for the prize number 2 as well.

So, basically, I'll hold two raffles:
-one with all participants, for the prize number 1
-one with watchers only, for the prize number 2

Which means, everybody can win prize number 1, but only watchers can win prize number 2. I think this is both fair towards people who would like to participate but don't want to watch me and towards my watchers, as they are in for the additional raffle as well. This also means that one person can win both prizes, but I guess that would require some quite incredible RNG, if a decent number of people decide to participate

Please, don't watch me just for the additional %, only to unwatch me afterwards. It's not a nice move and I've opened the raffle to all, so that people who don't want to watch me can still participate. Of course, I would be most grateful if I would get genuine new watchers, so if you like my work and want to watch me because you would do it regardless of the raffle - please do, I would appreciate it very much.




 RULES

-I won't limit the winner to use the piece only privately. Which means that they will be able to use the piece to promote their product or website or game etc. However, in that case, be sure to credit me as the author and also be sure not to edit the piece (I'd say that's a given, but you never know ).

theme and style restrictions:

-as you can see from the examples, the raffle is limited to an anime-styled female character. I will also decide on the pose, disposition etc. You will give me the description (physical, mental, a drawing etc) and I'll do my rendition of that character. So, no "make her lying on her back looking to the side" etc, I get to surprise you with a finished piece after I get the brief That said, rest assured that if your character is a dark-haired shy girl, I certainly won't draw her as a party animal redhead because I am not a douche

-fan art is fine. (of course, the usage would be limited to personal, but that's not up to me)

-no hentai, you can refer to my gallery to see what is my typical "range".

-no "anthro" - your vanilla nekomimi is perfectly fine though - again, see my gallery for reference.

Winners will get a high res piece and will be the only ones besides me who'll have it (gallery submission will be a smaller version).





 DEADLINE/SCHEDULE:

-I'll RNG the winners a week from now, so, 18. October 2015. I'll edit this journal, announce the winners and they will be notified via the DA note system. So, you can't exactly miss it if you have been drawn. IF there is a significant flow of applicants nearing the deadline, I may prolong the deadline for a couple of days - but that's highly unlikely to happen.

-The winner should respond in two days after being notified/announced. I think that's a reasonable time to check your DA. If the winner remains silent for two days after they have been notified, another participant will be drawn.

Oh, just to prevent the confusion - I won't announce your numbers below your comments. This is in the case someone comments as a non-watcher, but decides to watch me later while the raffle is still going.
So, basically, I am counting everyone that expressed the wish to participate, I am just not announcing it under the comments. So, everybody who applied, consider yourself counted in!
And also, you don't have to say if you watch me or not and stuff like that - when the time comes, I'll sit down, browse through comments, make lists and draw winners at the random.org
So, apply away and no worries, I haven't ignored you or anything I'll still reply to your comments as an expression of gratitude or acknowledgement, it's just that you won't receive any numbers in that post

Just a "bump" for watchers who may have missed the journal entry but would like to participate, as I'll draw the winner(s) in like 10-15 hours (I mean, I know I personally sometimes do a "select all - delete" with my notifications only to find out later that I missed on some stuff that actually interests me).
